Unreal (not the game)

These past few days have been a little unreal... I went to Monster.com and updated my resume and also updated my skills and experience etc... and I've been getting emails from recruiters suddenly. It is amazing how 3 yrs experience is so much better than 2 years.
Anyway. I have to polish the resume a bit more and start replying to the email.

The job market for guys like us has supposedly become pretty hot recently, at least according to anecdotal evidence.

The trick is not to get so swamped with calls from recruiters that you can't focus on going after the jobs you actually want. I actually took my resumes down after a few days last November because I was getting too much unwanted attention. I got lots of calls for jobs in far-off locations, or jobs for which I wasn't actually suited, or offering false promises of gigantic salaries.
